The pond is nearly 20 meters long and 8 meters wide, quite like a deep footprint left by a giant. Legend has it that Bao Zheng often visited this place when he was studying in Xianghuadun when he was a child. At that time, there was no "Jade Belt Bridge" in the north of the island. One day, Bao Zheng was very happy playing here and wanted to go to the other side to see it, so he jumped forward suddenly. Because Bao Zheng was originally born from the Wenqu star in the sky and was reborn in the earth, this jump left a deep and large right foot footprint on the island, which formed a small pond over time. Later people called it "Footprint Pond".
