Introduction to Jiaqing Archway: Jiaqing Archway is a chastity archway, one of the three unique ancient buildings in Huizhou. It was erected to commemorate the two sisters-in-law. Ancient Huizhou had a prosperous literary style and developed education. In order to promote feudal ethics and commend officials for their political achievements, filial sons and righteous men, chaste women and martyrs, Huizhou people often used the method of "erecting memorial arches" to convey their glory and immortality.
