Hefei Mingjiao Temple Travel Guide - Main Hall

Introduction to the Main Hall: The Main Hall is a hilltop with double eaves, clay tiles, tender corners, and no brackets or colonnades. The large clay plaque hanging above the door is inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, and the six powerful characters "Namo Amitabha" on the red wall are the calligraphy of Master Hongyi. On both sides of the hall are eighteen Arhat statues of different shapes, and in the center are enshrined the treasure of the Mingjiao Temple - five Buddha statues brought back from Beijing.
