Memorial Tower Introduction: The Memorial Tower is located on the top of the mountain platform and is evidence of the Japanese army’s occupation of Hefei. The tower is 2 meters high, with a spire, made of cement, and a square rough stone base. It was erected when the Japanese Army commemorated the completion of the construction fortifications. It is engraved with the words "Da Shushan Battlefield Construction Memorial Tower" and the date of construction. In 1998, the Hefei Municipal Garden Bureau erected a monument in front of the tower to introduce the history of the Japanese occupation of Hefei and the origin of the tower, and to remind future generations not to forget the national humiliation.
