Helsinki Stadium Introduction: Helsingin olympiastadion was the venue for the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games and was built in 1938. In preparation for the Summer Olympics, the country spent nearly 10 million euros to renovate it and added a 4,000-square-meter steel-framed ceiling and three large display screens to facilitate spectators' viewing experience.
