Introduction to the National Museum: The National Museum of Finland was established on the original site of a medieval church. It introduces the three major aspects of Finnish prehistory, posthistory and ethnicity. It houses archaeology, history, ancient coins, and ethnography. With exhibits on science and other aspects, it is the largest museum in Finland.
