Introduction to Uspenski Cathedral: Uspenski Cathedral is an Orthodox church that honors the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was designed by the Russian architect A.M. Gornostayev and built in 1868. There is a plaque on the back of the church commemorating Russian Tsar Alexander II.
