Introduction to the Dabai Building: The Dabai Building of the Middle East Railway was built in 1903 as an office and residence for experts and technicians who built the Middle East Railway. It is a two-story office with a novel and unique style of white Russian brick structure. The accommodation building is called "Dabai Building" by locals. The "Dabai Building" was a relatively large building in the area. It was surrounded by dense forests and the environment was very quiet. It was a good place for experts to design, plan and rest. After the road construction experts and technical staff evacuated, it became the office of the China Eastern Railway. After liberation, the Hengdaohezi Railway came under the jurisdiction of the Mudanjiang Railway Branch, and the Dabai Building was subsequently converted into a residence for railway employees. Although this building has withstood hundreds of years of wind, snow, rain and frost, it still stands intact among the railway residential buildings built in the later period.
