Introduction to the Zunyi Conference: The Zunyi Conference Scenic Spot contains the Zunyi Conference site, the former site of the General Political Department of the Red Army, the former site of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, as well as the former sites where Mao Zedong, Zhang Wentian, Wang Jiaxiang, Li De, Bogu, etc. were employed and lived there. From January 15 to 17, 1935, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held an enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau in Zunyi, which established the dominant position of Mao Zedong's military thought in the Red Army and became a great turning point in the process of the Chinese revolution. There is an exhibition of historical materials of the Zunyi Conference at the former site of the General Political Department. The conference room of the Zunyi Conference has been restored.
