Introduction to Wuhou Temple: Wuhou Temple was built in memory of Zhuge Liang. Wuhou is Zhuge Liang (181-234), who was called Wuhou in his old life because he was once granted the title of Marquis of Wuxiang. In the 13th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (208), Liu Bei was appointed as the shepherd of Jingzhou. Zhuge Liang was stationed in Linzheng (today's Hengyang) as military advisor Zhonglang, supervising the military administration of the three counties of Changsha, Lingling and Guiyang, and lived on Shigu Mountain. Later, people built Wuhou Temple next to Linranyi for worship. When Shigu Academy was rebuilt in the Song Dynasty, Wuhou Temple was moved to Shigu Mountain. Zhang Shi, a Neo-Confucian scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty, once wrote "The Records of the Temple of Marquis Wu" and personally carved a stone and erected a stele.
