Introduction to the National Memorial Cemetery: The National Memorial Cemetery is located on the banks of the Dieshui River 1 km southwest of Tengchong County and at the northern foot of Laifeng Mountain. It commemorates those who died in the battle to conquer Tengchong during the Anti-Japanese War when the 20th Group Army of the Chinese Expeditionary Force The cemetery built by soldiers is currently China's largest and most complete memorial cemetery for soldiers who died on the frontal battlefield during the Anti-Japanese War. It was built on July 7, 1945 and covers an area of 88 acres.
