Introduction to the Thousand Gold Pagoda: The Thousand Gold Pagoda is located in the Martyrs Cemetery 1.6 kilometers southeast of Heyang County. It was built in 1609 after Kang Shou, a man from Huaili (i.e. Houdi Lane, now known as Cultural Street) in the county seat, donated a thousand taels of silver. It was built, hence its name. The original inscriptions and inscriptions have been lost. Together with the Daxiang Temple Pagoda, it is a key cultural relic protection unit at the county level. Thousand Gold Pagoda is one of the wonders of Heyang.
