Introduction to Ruan Xiaoxian’s former residence: Ruan Xiaoxian’s former residence is located in Xiatun Village, Yihe Town, Dongyuan County. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it faces north and faces south. It has a layout of three halls, four horizontals and one rear roof, covering an area of 3558 square meters. It is a Hakka enclosed house style residence. Ruan Xiaoxian was born and spent his childhood and adolescence here. The former residence of Ruan Xiaoxian was designated as a provincial key cultural relic protection unit in July 2002, and was designated as a provincial patriotism education base in 2010.
