Mei Lanfang’s former residence introduction: Mei Lanfang’s former residence is located near the east end of the street, covering an area of 716 square meters. Before his death in 1961, Mei Lanfang spent the last 10 years of his life in this quiet and comfortable courtyard. At the suggestion of Premier Zhou Enlai, Mei Lanfang's former residence was completed and opened to the public in October 1986, becoming the best place to look back on this Peking Opera master.
