West Tower Introduction: It is located on the west side about 1 kilometer away from the East Tower. It is surrounded by layers of fir trees and has a quiet atmosphere. This is the oldest building of Enryaku-ji Temple, with the Shakya Hall dedicated to Shakya Tathagata as the center, the Jōgyō Hall dedicated to Amida Tathagata, and the Lotus Hall dedicated to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.
