Introduction to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Library: The new library of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is located in the center of the campus, close to the school gate square. You can see spectacular sea views from the library. The new library is 5 stories high with a construction area of 10,000 square meters. It currently collects 500,000 books and can provide 1,850 reader seats. The library is equipped with academic conference rooms, group research rooms, personal reading tables, research booths, and computers. Study rooms and laboratories, as well as audio-visual and other equipment, have now become the center of the school's teaching and research activities.
