Introduction to the teaching building: The construction project of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology began in 1989. The first phase of the project was completed in 1991. After the second phase of the project was completed in 1993, the teaching building has a designated area for students to use. Activity spaces include studios, studios, music rooms, television and game rooms, conference rooms, common rooms, and offices for student groups.
