Introduction to the former residence: The plaque "Former Residence of Hong Xiuquan" was inscribed by Mr. Guo Moruo. The former residence was burned down during the Qing army's "Persecution of the Nine Tribes". It was restored on the original wall foundation after archaeological excavation in 1959, and was repaired in 1998.
