Bird introduction: There are 1012 species of wild plants and 234 species of birds in the reserve. The national rare and endangered protected birds include Oriental white stork, black stork, red-crowned crane, white-naped crane, mandarin duck, whooper swan, and white-tailed sea bird. There are 10 species of wild eagles, Steller's sea eagle, black eagle and slender-billed grouse; 6 species of national endangered wild plants include wild soybean, manchurian ash, walnut tree, yellow pineapple, acanthopanax and astragalus. There are also 126 species of birds jointly protected in the China-Japan Migratory Birds and Habitat Protection Agreement, and 15 species of birds jointly protected in the China-Australia Migratory Birds and Habitat Protection Agreement.
