Introduction to Stone City: Stone City is located on the north side of Taxkuljik Autonomous County. It is a famous ancient city site on the ancient Silk Road. It is 3,700 meters above sea level. It is located in a strategic location and is majestic. From the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, it was expanded and garrisoned. Continuously, the highest point of the city wall reaches more than 20 meters. There are multiple layers of broken or continuous city walls built outside the city. The stone hills between the partition walls overlap and piles of rocks form a unique stone city scenery. During the Han Dynasty, this was the royal city of Puli Kingdom, one of the thirty-six kingdoms in the Western Regions. After the Tang Dynasty government unified the Western Regions, a Congling Guardian Center was set up here. In the early Yuan Dynasty, extensive construction work was carried out to expand the city walls, and the old stone city was given a new look. In the 28th year of Guangxu's reign, the Qing government established Puli Hall here and repaired the old castle.
