Introduction to historical sites: The stone forehead of Hongsheng Ancient Temple can be seen as "rebuilt in Mengchun in the 10th year of Xianfeng Dynasty". Hongsheng Ancient Temple, Wanghai Guanyin Temple and the stone wall tree behind the temple in Wan Chai. Hongsheng Temple was originally a small altar on the seaside rock. It was built by Fang Zhong on the mountain rocks in 1847 and rebuilt in the 10th year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1860). The temple was originally located on the seaside. Due to the reclamation of Wan Chai waterfront, it is now located inland. The Hung Shing Temple in Wan Chai was last renovated in 1992, restoring the original appearance of the granite lintels in the Wanghai Guanyin Temple that was expanded in 1867.
