Introduction to the Texas Prison Museum: The Texas Prison Museum was founded in 1989. It is a comprehensive charity institution integrating exhibitions, education, and tourism. The museum displays the development of the Texas prison system since 1848 from the perspectives of prisoners and prison guards. The exhibits on display are mainly items used by prisoners. In addition to daily necessities, execution tools, contraband brought by prisoners and homemade escape supplies, there are also prison "arts" such as paintings and sculptures created by the prisoners themselves.
