Introduction to Kotnis Statue and Mausoleum: Kotnis's tomb is located directly east of the Martyrs' Monument, opposite Bethune's tomb. The tomb is square in shape with an arc-shaped top, facing east to west. The white marble tablet in front of the tomb is engraved with seven large gold-plated characters: "Tomb of Dr. Kotnis". On the right side of Kotnis's tombstone is a monument to Dr. Edward, an international friend and Indian medical aid team to China during the Anti-Japanese War. On the left is the monument to Dr. Basuhua, an international friend and Indian medical aid team to China. On a tall granite pedestal in the center of the square in front of the tomb stands a full-length white marble statue of Kotnis, which is 2.7 meters high. The name and birth and death dates of Ko Dihua are engraved in Chinese and English on the front of the stone base. This tomb landscape has not only become an important place to commemorate Kotnis and other international friends of India, but has also become a symbol of the friendship between the Chinese and Indian people, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign audiences every year.
