Introduction to Zhantanlin Temple: Zhantanlin, named Zhantanana, is the name of the fragrant wood. It comes from the Moraya Mountains in South India. Sandalwood is often used to make Buddha statues. The Buddhist scriptures include the "Santanlin Dharani Sutra", so it is a Buddhist jungle. There are many Buddhist temples named after Zhantan, dedicated to Sakyamuni. Huafoshan Zhantanlin Temple was jointly built by the benefactors surnamed Zhao from Qinglong and Fengtun Townships during the Qing Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty. The founder was Zen Master Hong Shi, Hong Ruzhi's junior brother. It is located in the middle of the mountain. The temple was destroyed in Xiantong, and monk Zhanyuan presided over the reconstruction of the main hall and 12 dormitories.
