Introduction to Xiantong Temple: Xiantong Temple is located in the valley between the two peaks of Longshan and Hushan. It is also known as Xiangshan Temple and Xianjiwang Temple. The temple is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with lush forests and beautiful environment.
Xiantong Temple was built in the fifth year of Taikang in the Western Jin Dynasty. It has been repaired many times in history. The existing buildings such as Tianwang Hall, Xianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, and Ksitigarbha Hall are all in the style of Qing Dynasty temples, with magnificent building scale and layout. The courtyard is sparse and has towering ancient trees such as cypresses and ginkgo trees. There are still more than 20 ancient steles from the Song to Qing Dynasties. From the Kui Tower at the temple's mountain gate, you can have a panoramic view of the urban scenery.
