Introduction to Wenchang Pavilion: The pavilion is dedicated to Emperor Wenchang. Emperor Wenchang is the god who dominates the literary movement and fame in ancient Chinese myths and legends. When the Chen family was building the inner city, they built the Wenchang Pavilion at a strategic location on the city wall to enshrine the "Emperor Wenchang".
