Introduction to Yansi Wenfeng Pagoda: Yansi Wenfeng Pagoda, also known as Shuikou Pagoda or Yansi Pagoda, is located at the original entrance to the village in the northern suburbs of Yansi Town, adjacent to the Fengle River in the west at the entrance to the Yansi Expressway. The entire tower can be clearly seen from the highway. Wenfeng Pagoda was built in the 23rd year (1544) by Suzhou craftsmen based on the styles of Shaoxing Dazen Temple Pagoda, Nanjing Baoen Temple Pagoda and Sizhou Pagoda. Wenfeng Pagoda is a brick tower with seven floors and eight sides, with a height of 25 meters. The pagoda was initiated by Zheng Zuo, a native of Yansi, and local people donated funds to build it. It cost a total of more than 40,000 taels of silver and took fifteen years to complete. Wenfeng Pagoda is the tallest tower in Huizhou. Climbing Wenfeng Pagoda can overlook the smoke and clouds of Huangshan Mountain and the whole ancient town up close. The tower is now a provincial key cultural relic protection unit.
