Introduction to the True Body Hall: The True Body Hall, also known as the Patriarch’s Hall, is a hall dedicated to the true body of the fifth ancestor Hongren. It was originally under the lecture platform. In the fifth year of Xianheng of the Tang Dynasty (674), before Hongren passed away, he ordered his disciple Xuan Zu It was built in the second year of Yuanyou (1087) in the Northern Song Dynasty and moved to its current location for reconstruction. The architecture of this palace is unique and majestic in shape, with a bell pavilion on the left and a drum pavilion on the right in the front. The two pavilions have the same shape and are symmetrical to each other. They are connected to the main hall inside, with cornices and brackets, and bird images engraved on the supporting corners. The middle part is the main hall, with a plaque "Zhen Shen Hall" hanging above the front door. The large pillars on both sides of the door are decorated with giant golden dragons, the beams above the door are carved with two hollow dragons playing with beads, the roof is capped with nine dragons, and both sides are built with carved bricks.
