Football introduction: Huddersfield Town was founded in 1908, and its main stadium is the Alfred McAlpine Stadium. The team joined the Football League in 1910 and won the top league championship for three consecutive years (1923/24, 1924/25 and 1925/1926), becoming the first team to win three consecutive championships. In 1922, they also won the FA Cup and Charity Shield, and were hailed as the strongest team in Britain and the world at that time.
