Hunan Changsha City Museum Tourism Guide - The Former Residence Site of Mao Yang

Introduction to the former residence of Mao Yang: A few simple farmhouses are the former site of the Hunan District Committee of the Communist Party of China and the place where Mao Zedong and Yang Kaihui lived. It is also the only precious revolutionary historical building preserved in Changsha. In 1951, the interior furnishings of the old site were gradually restored and opened to the public; in 1969, the surrounding environment was restored and a memorial hall for the old site was built. Nowadays, a municipal museum has been built on the basis of the old memorial hall.
