Introduction to the archway: There is an archway at each of the south and north ends of the antique city wall platform. They are of the same shape, with four columns and three bays. Both sides of the column feet are decorated with drum stones; the forehead beams and columns are connected with tenons. Carved birds are used to support each other; wooden structures are used above the flat beams of each floor. The brackets are based on the Ruyi bracket style of Yueyang Tower. The roof is palace-style and covered with peacock blue glazed tiles. The archway at the south end has the inscriptions "Antarctic Xiaoxiang" and "The Sky is White", while the north end has "Beitong Wu Gorge" and "Jiang Shang Feng Qing". There are couplets in the middle, both written by calligraphers in the Qing Dynasty and contemporary times.
