Introduction to the Buda Palace: The Buda Palace (budavári palota) is located on the right bank of the Danube River. It was first built in the 13th century by the "Arubado Dynasty". It fell into disrepair for a long time during the Turkish occupation of Buda. It was partially rebuilt in the 18th century. It was restored and expanded from the mid-19th century to become a neo-Baroque building. During World War II, the palace was damaged again and rebuilt after the war.
