Introduction to Shengjin Peak: is the main peak of the Flame Mountain, with an altitude of 851 meters. Here, there are many mountains, undulating mountains, crisscrossing and winding folds. Under the direct sunlight, it looks like a rolling heat wave. In addition, there is no grass growing on the surface of the mountain, and the ground temperature above 70°C and the scorching sunlight shining on the exposed red sandstone look more like burning flames. Therefore, it was called "Red Rock Mountain" in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and "volcano" in the Tang Dynasty. Starting from the early Ming Dynasty, it was officially called "Flaming Mountain", and Turpan was also called "Fire Continent".
