Introduction to the Albert Memorial Pavilion: The Albert Memorial Pavilion is located on the south side of the park. There are sculpture groups symbolizing Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States at the four corners of the pavilion. The monument was built in 1876 as a memorial to Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria.
