Introduction to Ding'an plaque: The two-character plaque "Ding'an" in the memorial hall was inscribed by Mr. Shen Ding'an, a famous calligrapher in my country. Shen Ding'an dominates the contemporary calligraphy world with his official calligraphy with thick ink and large strokes. His official script continues the ancient legacy of the Qianjia School of the Qing Dynasty in advocating epigraphy. It is dignified yet mellow and subtle, and the lines are thick, smooth and broad.
