Lakeshore introduction: The lakeshore is gentle and flat, with small bays on the east and southeast, and the soil is mainly sandy. Hunting is prohibited around the lakeside and within the 1.6-kilometer (1-mile) lakeshore area. Rabbits, foxes and muskrats all live in the bush. There are about 40 species of mammals and 200 species of birds. There are more than 20 species of fish in the lake. The basic commercial fish are scaleless Ottoman fish and common carp. The east and west banks of the lake are the places where water birds spend the winter. The main winter birds include pochards, mallards, bald webbed chickens and teal.
