Introduction to the City Palace: The City Palace was built in 1729. After expansion by successive princes in the following centuries, the palace's architecture combines the Indian style of Rajasthan and the Islamic style of the Mughal Dynasty. . The City Palace Museum is located in the center of Jaipur, separated from the downtown area by only one wall. It has eight palace gates and all avenues in the city lead to the palace. The entire main palace is made of marble, and there is a large elephant made of marble on each side of the palace gate.
