Introduction to Gwandeokjeong Pavilion: Located in the city center, it is one of the oldest existing buildings in Jeju. The pavilion was built in 1448 during the reign of King Sejong of Joseon. It is a pavilion-shaped building with no windows or walls and is open on all sides. The beams of the pavilion are painted with exquisite murals such as "Ten Immortals" and "Red Cliff Victory", and the stone statue standing in front of it is the original form of Dolharubang, which symbolizes Jeju.
