Introduction to Xiangxuehai: Xiangxuehai is one of the four major plum blossom viewing spots in China. It is located on Dengwei Mountain in Guangfu Town. In the 35th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, Song Nao, the governor of Jiangsu Province, engraved the words "Xiangxuehai" on the cliff after appreciating the plum blossoms. During Qianlong's six tours to the south, he always went to Xiangxuehai to appreciate plum blossoms. There is now a monument to Qianlong's poems. Next to the poem stele is the famous Plum Blossom Pavilion, which was built by Yao Chengzu, a modern Wuzhong craftsman and descendant of the Xiangshan Gang. There is a Plum Blossom Pavilion halfway up the mountain, where visitors can drink tea and appreciate plum blossoms. A new plum blossom viewing pavilion is built on the top of the mountain. There are also cliff stone carvings and spring water "Plum Spring" such as "a vast expanse of splendor", "no one greets guests when they arrive, but only ancient plum blossoms", "sparse shadows on qiongzhi", "secret posture and cold beauty", and Song Nao's poems. In addition to plum blossom viewing in early spring, large areas of wood lotus bloom in Xiangxuehai in mid-June every year. The Guwen Mei Xuan and Plum Blossom Pavilion, hidden among the plum blossoms, are like the Yu Yu Qiong Pavilion floating on the vast sea of snow. People walking along the winding and deep flower paths have the feeling that "there are flowers everywhere when entering the mountain, and you don't know the distance, distance, or path." Climbing up to the Plum Blossom Pavilion, you can see mountains and fields, valleys and ridges, rippling snow sea, and dazzling silver waves, which is a spectacular sight.
