Introduction to the bronze statue of Wang Dong: Wang Dong, whose courtesy name is Longji and whose nickname is Yi'an, is a younger brother of the Wang Gen clan. He is a great Confucian of the Ming Dynasty in China and a famous thinker and educator. He successively served as the Prefecture School in Tai'an, Shandong Province, the Instructor of Nanfeng, Jiangxi Province, and the Zhengzhou School in Shenzhou. At the age of 70, he retired and returned to his hometown. After returning to Jiangyan, he founded the "Guicai Thatched Cottage" to give lectures and preach.
