Introduction to the stone carvings of Qingshan Hall: In the winding corridor, there are collected epitaphs, biographies, prefaces, notes, etc. written by 84 celebrities for the Xu family between the third year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty and the fifth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. There are 90 chapters and 76 stone carvings inlaid on the wall of the corridor. Walking in this corridor of stone carvings and steles from ancient times to the present, changing time and space, is like having a conversation with the ancients, and jointly comprehending the interpretation of Xu Xiake, a strange person through the ages.
