Introduction to Jiange Pass: Jianmen Pass is located at the intersection of Da and Xiao Jian Mountains. According to the second volume of "Jianzhou Chronicles", during the Three Kingdoms period, "Zhuge came to Shu and drilled the rock to form the Feiliang Pavilion Road. In order to pass the pass, a Jianmen Pass was built at the break of the mountain, and at the pass, a stone gate was built according to the cliff. The name "Jiange" is based on the pavilion road built by Zhuge Liang and the large and small sword mountains with strange peaks like swords.
The original ancient gate tower of Jianmen Pass was a three-story archery tower. A horizontal plaque was hung in the middle of the attic, which read "Xiongguan in the world". The plaque in the middle of the top floor was inscribed with "Xiongguan Tianqian". The gate towers built in the pass were all destroyed by war. They were rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty and repaired several times in the Qing Dynasty, making the gate towers more majestic and beautiful. Unfortunately, this majestic Guguan Tower, which has lasted for more than a thousand years, was completely demolished during the construction of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway in 1935, leaving only a rectangular "Jianmenguan" stone tablet. The current Guan Tower is a spectacular antique-style Guan Tower rebuilt in 1992 on the site of the original Guan Tower.
