Introduction to Deyang Confucian Temple: Deyang Confucian Temple was founded in 1206 AD. It is the earliest Confucian temple located in the east of the city. It was moved to the south of the city during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty and is still at its current location. It has been renovated and supplemented many times. The existing Deyang Confucian Temple was built on the site of the Ming Dynasty in the 28th year of Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty (1848 AD) and completed in the 5th year of Xianfeng (1855 AD). It is one of the most well-preserved, large-scale and most local-style Confucian temples in southwest China. It is known as "Deyang Confucian Temple Jia Xichuan" and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The main buildings include more than 30 buildings including Wanren Palace Wall, Lingxing Gate, Pan Bridge (Panchi), Ji Gate (Dacheng Gate), Liyue Pavilion, Dacheng Hall, East-West Veranda, Daoguan Ancient and Modern, and Depei Tiandi Square.
