Introduction to Quanting: The iron coins displayed in Quanting were discovered at the Jiaozhou Municipal Government dormitory construction site in December 1996. A total of about 30 tons of iron coins were unearthed. Due to the rich underground water source, the iron coins were severely corroded and the iron coins had become rusty. In a lump, this is the largest piece, weighing about 16 tons. Those whose handwriting can be discerned include Shengsong Yuanbao, Chongning Tongbao, Chongning Chongbao, Daguan Tongbao, and Zhenghe Tongbao, which are coins minted during the Huizong period of the Northern Song Dynasty. These iron coins provide reliable physical data for the study of coin casting and economic development in the Song Dynasty. .
