Introduction to Zhaoming Academy: Zhaoming Academy is named after Xiao Tong, the prince of Liang Zhaoming in the Southern Dynasties who once built a library in Wuzhen to study. The academy faces south from the north and consists of two-story hard-mounted ancient buildings with a semi-cloister. The main building is the library, which has a collection of books and magazines on culture, social sciences, art, leisure and travel, etc. for reading. It also has an electronic reading room, lecture hall, calligraphy and painting, classrooms, etc. It has been listed as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.
