Introduction to the National Geopark: Jingyu Volcanic Mineral Spring Group National Geopark was established in 2004 with the approval of the Ministry of Land and Resources. It is located in the southeast of Jilin Province and at the western foot of Changbai Mountain, with a total area of 382.78 square kilometers. It consists of three main scenic areas with the majestic modern Longgang volcano group, various mineral spring groups and the primitive ecological charm of the vast forest sea. The scenic area consists of 72 mountains (volcanoes), 18 springs (mineral springs), 3 lakes (Sihai Longwan Maar Lake) , Longquan Longwan Maar Lake, Baishan Lake), 2 valleys (Diaoshui Lake Valley, Garden Canyon), 2 museums (Geological Museum, Yang Jingyu Memorial Hall), 1 river (Songhua River), 1 cave (Xianren Cave), unique The geological and landform landscape attracts many people at home and abroad to visit, conduct scientific research, travel and relax here.
