Wetland introduction: The wetlands in Yanming Lake Reserve can be divided into 8 wetland types, which belong to two major wetland systems: natural and artificial. Natural wetlands include permanent river wetlands, floodlands, permanent freshwater lake wetlands, forest swamps, shrub swamps and herbaceous swamps; artificial wetlands include paddy fields and reservoirs. The wetland of Yanming Lake is also one of the areas rich in wetland resources in Jilin Province.
