Introduction to Yanming Lake: Jilin Dunhua Yanming Lake Reserve was established in 1991 and was promoted to a national nature reserve in April 2007. The core area of ​​the reserve covers an area of ​​19,649 hectares. According to the distribution characteristics of flooded areas and differences in wetland vegetation, the core area is divided into two parts - the Sihaidian core area, which mainly protects forest swamps and flooded areas; and the core area of ​​Yanming Lake, which mainly protects rafts. swamp. The buffer zone is mostly natural forest and a small amount of wetland vegetation. The experimental area is a base for scientific research, teaching practice and popular science education, as well as an area for eco-tourism and diversified operations.
