Introduction to the Hall of Patriarch Bodhidharma: Bodhidharma is honored as the "First Patriarch of the East" and "The Patriarch of Bodhidharma". Together with Zen Master Baozhi and Master Fu, he is known as the three great masters of the Liang Dynasty. He is the first ancestor of Chinese Zen.
