Tan Jingxian introduced: Tan Jingxian is the younger brother of Mr. Tan Kah Kee, "the flag of overseas Chinese and the glory of the nation". In 1913, he went to Singapore with Tan Kah Kee. In 1916, he returned to his hometown to prepare for Jimei School. While running businesses, he presided over the affairs of Jimei and Xiamen University for many years. He was respectfully called the second school principal by teachers, students and villagers. Due to long years of hard work, he became ill due to overwork and died at the age of 47.
